The Mail Snail is a small desktop mail organizer made of bamboo, available as a direct kit for $20, with some simple assembly required. Suitable for standard-sized envelopes, there are two slots for sorting mail. The final product is roughly 7 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 3 inches tall.

Assembly:
  1. Pop out the three uprights and the base from the cut sheet.
  2. Peel off the protective paper from both sides of the pieces.
  3. Simply insert the square tabs of the three uprights into the base, orienting the pieces so the silhouette forms a spiral from the side.
The final product is roughly 7in long, 3in wide, and 3in tall.
Depending on the tolerances of the material, glue may not be necessary, but is strongly recommended. Apply small amounts of ordinary white glue or wood glue to the sides of the tabs before inserting the tabs into the base. Let the glue set overnight for maximum strength. Adhesive cork or felt circles from a local hardware store are helpful for anti-skid.
